We had to call out Trinity Air to come over and look at why our upstairs wasn't cooling down like it should. We have the problem fixed, but encountered another one. 9 years ago, when we had the system put in (by a different company) - the installer didn't properly register the warranty and the way the manufacturer works is you get an extra 5 yrs of warranty if it's properly registered. So we thought we had a warranty for 10yrs, but didn't. We also didn't have a maintenance plan (our choice) - and we should have, because we may have been able to find out that the system wasn't registered properly.

Are you staying cool this summer? I guess lesson learned is for things like this, it's a good idea to go ahead and get on a maintenance plan to ensure things are working properly and go over your plan again to see if things are in check.
